png -> jpg / txt -> pdf

Hi Everyone

Does anyone know of an open source tool for automatically converting png to jpg ?

Or a tool for automatically converting multiple txt or doc files to pdf (assuming you already have Acrobat Writer) ?

Any recommendations would be very much appreciated.

The gimp (http://www2.arnes.si/~sopjsimo/gimp/) is a full featured image editor that's completely free. And yes, It can convert practicly all image types. To install it make sure you download both the gimp, AND the gtk. Install gtk before you install the gimp. Read that the site for more info.
