I need to find a free ecommerce site for my students to learn how to set up a store front. There were some sites that were free in the text book we are using, but they are not free any more. There are sites that are free for a trial period, but you have to give a credit card number. I'm hoping to get around this problem. :confused:

i maybe can help you. Building a simple Shop front and Shopping cart doesn't require that much code. Understanding the code is a different story. Drop me an email at db010a6370@blueyonder.co.uk and i would help you get a simple shop started.

I've used this cart a number of times... give it a shot you should have at least one server with CGI access to teach you students right?

It has PayPal support and will also let you test the cart in a testing mode so you can pretend to use Credit Cards.
