.NET newbie needs help

I need to write an application that will connect to DB2, return a bunch of data and format it into a text file with a header row at the top and my data below. Can anyone help me??

ugh I hate bad thread titles. vb.net or c#?

Theres alot of these threads floating around.. People just run through a list of rather complex concepts and then say "Ok, gimme the code".

It gets annoying sometimes.

Regards. generally any title with the word newbie in it is a bad one. or 'please help me' or 'html problem', I wish people were more descriptive with titles! Also, I still need to know weather you are using c#, vb.net, or something else in order to help you.
