add a font to my page

i need to use a font who isnt contained in the standard windows system.

is there a way to download this font automaticly, if its not installed on the system, from my page?

and if there is a way.... how does this work...??

you always just give them the option to download the font, because there is no way to have them automatically download the font from the web browser when they view a page with the associated font.

Or you can give the appearence of the font by creating an image of the text in the associated font.

You need a web embedding fonts tool. See http://www.microsoft.com/typography/web/embedding/weft3/default.htm. It'll only work with MSIE so make sure that your page doesn't rely upon these special fonts.
