I ran out of money and didnt know what to do so I ran some modifications on my complexfellow layout and came up with that. Still trying to figure out how to center the links on the menu so if anyone knows dont be shy
Try using text-align: center, lol.
Also, you still have the green borders, and one link's title attribute says "Archive."

Thats a really good freaken idea... because I forgot about mother's day. Let me think of something practical I could make... I could do something with java or vb.net, an application, but what would it do.... I am thinken up something, if anyone else has ideas post em and Ill give you source code when I make it so you can custumise it for your moms.
I took my mom out to eat. :D

I don't have any $... I had to buy gas today, and got some bonos, had to pay for my mobo to be sent, I do not have any cash. I have a check but I can't cash it till monday. I think I am going to make a macaroni picture (seriously), I will spell out IOU with the noodles.

i feel your pain. i had prom but a hole through my bank account (and i even ate at taco bell) and the grocery store i worked at closed.
here's what i made my mom. (http://undergroundwriting.netfirms.com/mommage.html) it works in IE6 and Opera 7.23 but not Firebird. of course, my mom didn't care. i'm leaving off the link that uses javascript to make it fullscreen, because i know that someone would have javascript turned off and then we would get into the great 13% debate and whatnot... but it's full of js alerts anyway, because, like i said, it's for my mom, who knows next to nothing about the internet, and who saw the page on my computer, so i had full control. then she hit me for not getting her a real gift, but oh well. i had an excuse - i'm poor;).

It just doesn't seem to match, exactly, maybe a more mild color of green so that the borders aren't so "hard" on the layout. Just a suggestion.

Heh, thank you kindly... I, erm, "borrowed" your idea and designed me mum a nice webpage-card. God, I love CSS... Anywho, being that she's not exactly web-savy, she was really impressed and all. Would provide a link, but I know someone would yell at me for using an IFrame, but anywho thanks for the cool idea. She even forgot that I didn't get her a gift or anything. :rolleyes:
