WEB Bot? for harvesting certain info from certain webpages

is there a good bot for harvesting certain info from certain webpages? Like amazon.com - I would like to get a bot collecting the prices of certain books, and collect this into a spreedsheet in Excel. Is this possible with any bot out there? Regards/ internet-hora

Your best bet will be to hire a "perl" developer to write a custom spider for you

Yes there is, but it involves a lot of PHP coding. Also, I am only familiar with ways to import website information into a MySQL database, not an access database. I recently did this operation in order to make a chart for a recent customer.
