I have just updated my personal website and would love to know your suggestions or comments???? I have used tables :( I dont know the alternatives, sorry.

The first step is to acknowledge what you have done wrong, the second step... to correct it.

The site looks decent enough, though I would suggest perhaps using some sort of rounded border on the Flash animation at the the top. The menu is JavaScript only, so when I disable JavaScript I cannot navigate through the site at all. I don't have control over the look of the site, when I disable CSS I still see red links and a blue background.

The alternative to designing with tables, is using CSS. For most, simple layouts, CSS is much easier than tables, and its benefits are much better -- for yourself, and others. It would be good to learn a few things about CSS, and then read a few tutorials and see some code on it. A good place to start would be http://www.w3schools.com/ and afterwards check out the box lessons at http://www.thenoodleincident.com/.

the things that i dnt like bout your site, is in k-meleon @ 800x600, your site displays the text at the bottom "'Complaining is a combination of arrogance and powerlessness, while believing that someone else needs to change for you.'....Dr Chuck Spezzano" and then it has another text directly on top of it (or so it appears in k-meleon) i cant read either of them.
