the problem with merging the threads is that if that were to happen, the posts would all be put in chronological order. so if some poor soul were to try to read it, their head would implode (if they're lucky)

Why not create a thread specially for gossip? (or you could rename this thread to a gossip thread).

I've so far stayed off of this thread on account of not having an avatar, but I figured that I might as well post here before it collapses in on itself and takes the whole internet with it. (I wouldn't want to miss that).

I don't remember the full details, I'd have to watch the DVD again. But I remember during one of the interviews on the Cowboy Bebop The Movie DVD, Ed was originally supposed to be a boy, but while she was still in the character design stage - before any episodes were ever aired (never mind the movie) - the character was changed to a girl. So, she would never have appeared as a boy in any Cowboy Bebop episode.
Of course, I might have my movies mixed up, but I remember Ed being extremely hyper and EXTREMELY annoying.

Well, I snagged an old version of the bunny-koala (I deleted the .swf (I never claimed to be the brightest one), but I still have the old, non down-sized version), and got a fresh version going... I redid it totally, so that I have a lot more control over it, with the colours, shading, two "versions" of the outline (I have one that I make any and all changes to, then I make a copy of it, and soften that), and the background all in their own layers. I still have the old one, and I can change it back, but if this one is better, or okay, it makes life a lot easier for me...

Fact is, it's overdone, uninteresting, and you got nothing on the avatar because he DOES look like a monkey, and that's kind of funny whether you like it or not. After this term we won't have to deal with him (and hopefully anyone else associated with oil- you know things have gone to hell when rich Texans are ruling a country... or old men who haven't been eaten in general... maybe I should give the anarchist platform it's spot here?
