date/timestamp a message was posted

Hi,

I would like the date/timestamp to be posted next to my message when I post it on a page. Is there a way to do it. I might have several messages at any given time. example of what I need:

message i - this is the fisrt message. Posted on 5/21/2004 11:32 am
message 2 - this is second message. Posted on 5/20/2004 13:10 pm
and so on...

Are you sure, you're not talking about something which has to happen server side?
