Asp Writing To A Text File

Hello dere,

I'm trying to look up the fso scripting for when you write to a text file if the user is already registered then it simply overwrites the existing record instead of duplicating it. Also the scripting to advise the user that the username he's trying to register is already taken.

Help greatly appreciated

Noone will just write an application for you unless, of coarse, your willing to pay.

We will help you out, though.

www.w3schools.com and www.asp101.com both have detailed explanations of the FSO object. If i was you, i would just use a database.
