I've noticed lately that a lot of the same questions keep getting asked over and over again- and they keep getting answered over and over again.

I think we should quit answering the same questions over and over and start encouraging people to use the search function (http://www.webdeveloper.com/forum/search.php?s=).

ps.
How do i make it so that people cant steal my source code

That would require people to work.

Why would you not want people to steal your source code. If they do then it is likely good code and should be shared for the benefit of our society (or at least our engineers). :)

I think you've got a point when it's about 'simple' questions, but sometimes you can't describe on a simple way...

To be honest, i dont think it would work.

People are often not all that interested in the forums and whether or not they make a good name for themselves. They also rarely read the rules.

So, even if we told people to 'read this before you post', i still think the forums will get alot of pre-answered questions.

Regards,
Andrew Buntine.

Very true but on serveral occasions i will search the forum not for simple questions like the source code one but more complex ones and i never get relative answers there all about different subjects and later on i will browse the forums and find a thread with the exact name that i had been searching for.

Probably just me using the search wrong or something:D
