Accessing network email

I recently redesigned a website front page and accidently got rid of an important feature. They had a logo set up so a user could double-click it and gain access to their network email. Of course, they had to log in. They want that feature back and I have been looking all over for techniques or code or anything that will tell me how to set this feature back up. The person who did the feature the first time is no longer with the company. Any suggestions/tips?

I would imagine it's something as simple as a link to the login page:<a href="login.php"><img src="logo.png" style="border: 0;" alt="" /></a>
