Is there a such job as to edit webpages?
Meaning, you spend your day in an office editing webpages, making sure all the coding is correct?

yes, its part of web development. Some companies will hire a freelancer to come in from time to time and modify and update their site for a low fee, he may or may not be the creator. I know a guy who is doing that for a company right now.

There's a students union in a university near me offering a job for a 'website editor'. I.E. someone who can edit a website and write articles. But the salary is £12-15k

If its not too time consumeing that could be some nice side money! Id do it. I am working at a barnes and noble book store this summer, and after school next year. Freelance webdesign is a little extra cash in my free time... I will be raking in the benjamins when I finally get this cms done for clients which will be in another eternity because I can never get started on it. I have parts done, but I procrastinate and never sit down and work, ahhh story of my life!
