I need a good forum script

I knwo this has probly been asked like a **** load of times, but oh well; im looking for some one to help me to put up a well done forum, im willing to learn actually i would prefer it, any way php or what ever any one thinks is best is ok by me. Anyway i also need some sort of script so people can post on certain things in my site, seprate from the forum. thanx

I prefer PhpBB. It is a nice software and free. Also it's open source so integrate it into your site and do really cool things. It has an active forum where the development staff remain quite active to help you with bugs you may encounter.
