Try dragging the following link onto your links bar:

Play Search (http://play.com)

And then replace the url with (remember to remove the new lines):

javascript:q=(document.frames.length?'':document.selection.createRange().text);for(i=0;i<document.frames.length;i++){q=document.frames[i].document.selection.createRange().text;if(q!='')break;}if(q=='')void(q=prompt('Enter%20word%20to%20l ook%20up%20at%20play.com%20You%20can%20also%20highlight%20a%20word%20on%20this%20web%20page%20then%2 0click%20on%20this%20link.',''));if(q)location.href='http://play.com/play247.asp?searchtype=allproducts&searchstring='+escape(q)+'&page=search&Go.x=18&Go.y=6'

Either select a search query and click the button, or click the button and enter a search term to search play.com
