People on this forum aren't THAT generous. There's no way anyone will buy you a domain name :( And if you can afford a laptop, I'm sure it won't take too long to get a couple more bucks for a domain name.

I didn't want to throw the first punch here, but I'm glad I'm not alone in my gut response to this post. So, in that vein, I'll kick him while he's down...

You can make $8 in a day collecting bottles and cans on the roadside. This makes me think of the 'homeless' people I see at the end of the freeway ramp, begging for handouts with their signs. They always seem to have the money for cigarettes. And their clothes seem pretty new. And their backpacks seem pretty clean. Hmmm... Do they really need my help? NOT!

Why can't you wait a couple of weeks for the domain. Use free ones such as www.dot.tk until you are ready. Asking for favours for people you haven't met face to face is not really the best way to go about it. I know we are a small community here but nothing can stop us walking away and never looking back.

It's only $8 but the principal is big. Patience is a virtue.
