Hi,
I'm trying to optimize an animated gif in Imageready. This is an animated gif that was provided to me and I've opened with Imageready. It opens as 256 colors, no dither. Not sure if that's because that's how it was created or if Imageready defaults to that, but I'm guessing that's what color information already is there. Anyway it's about 13k and I want to make it 10k or less, but when I select a lower color palate (i.e. 128 or less) it actually ADDS 6k to the file size. Can anyone explain this?
I actually have to go down to 64 color to get it back to where it starts (13k) and 24 colors to get it to 10k which looks terrible. Any advice?:(
Thanks
