I was wondering if there is something out there that will allow me to have a page with a download link on it and only when the person downloads that program.. in my case a small font, can they see the text on that page. In my case the text would be a link to the correct homepage of my website. I want to make it so that to view my website you MUST have the correct font because it looks silly in default. At the moment I have a popup requesting you to install this font and a link but I fear most people, like I admittedly would, will ignore it.
If there is such a script or you know of any other answer to my problem, please get in touch. Thanks, love Adele (kiss kiss)

If you don't like the browser supported fonts, and want a special font for the reason you say, then why don't you make the font an image, or else you will have to be the one to store the font on your web site to be seen on your pages. Otherwise I will see is the browser default fonts.
For what you ask, where do you think I will store your font to see it on your page?

Good post! Worth reading. But is it really worth installing a special program. all the effort, and extra used space, for such a small reason? It will end up as an image anyway in cache.
Are embedded fonts cached like images?
Yes. Once a user has downloaded an embedded font file, it's
used every time that that font appears on the site. The font file
doesn't need to be downloaded whenever the user hits a new
page.
