gmt.getUTCMinutes(), does this get actuall GMT minutes?

does this get actuall GMT minutes? or does it calculate GMT time from usertime using userTZ

Hi!does this get actuall GMT minutes? or does it calculate GMT time from usertime using userTZIt checks the users clock and timezone settings and returns the stuff according to that. I guess, your gmt in gmt.getUTCMinutes(); is a date you defined before.

The UTC date and time stuff does also not reflect DST (summer time).

yeap i noticed got a fix for that (DST), thanks pitt all i needed to know, couldnt find that newhere :(

yeap defined like this ;)

//GMT Time
var gmt = new Date();
var gmthours = gmt.getUTCHours(); //GMT Hours
var gmtminutes = gmt.getUTCMinutes(); //GMT Minutes
