What is the basic difference between dhtml and javascript?
What sort of things can you do with dhtml that you cannot do with javascript and vice versa?
Is dhtml IE only?

DHTML is the use of Javascript, or another scripting language such as VBScript, and perhaps CSS, to control HTML. It is by no means IE only, though obviously different browsers/versions support it in slightly different ways.

They are so interrelated that the question 'what can one do without the other?' becomes pretty irrelevant.
