Hi -
First off, I hate free hosted pages! The ads ruin it for me (pers. opin.) - but hey, if you're just starting out and can't afford $3-50 a month, why not?

So, you're limited in what you can do, design-wise, yes? Then all I can say is try to have some consistency from page to page - we should be able to spot:

- who's site this is
- where I can go within the site

Each page can look different if that's what you like: but take it easy on the eyestrain colors and note the above!
(The aloofhosted page looked better, overall - at least the one I saw.)

I doubt that your 'limited' in what you can do design wise, I assume that your host is fine with css.

I've always managed with free hosted sites, ads are just one of thoses things.
