Executing a .exe in the client's PC

Hi,
Is there any way to execute an application in the PC of the client? I need to invoke a program, which is installed in the hard disk of the user (i'm not trying to create a virus :D
but for work purposes)

There is a way, but the visitor will have to except the download before it takes place. Just create it in a link.

this is a silly question :D , out of the topic we're discussing.

How do you put a image belo your nicks, in the left side of a reply?
I see that Pyro has an image of Batman, and Zach has an image of a big "Z" ... I want to put my icon ;)

How do you do that?

The image should be gif or jpg and shouldn't be more than 50x50 pixels.
