hi,
just wanted to know if any one knows of a font that looks just like the one that comes up in your browsers search bar when you type in "http://www." for example..
would a appreciate the help as iv seen it on so many sites and think it looks sweet....

There is a font called "Advocut" that should be available for free from DaFont, an excellent online font resource (see link below). It looks exactly like the type that appears in IE on a Mac. If that doesn't quite do it, check out the other fonts in the "Bitmap/Pixel" category. There are literally hundreds of bitmap fonts and they are easy to download. Plus, most are available for both PC and Mac platforms.
The last resort, of course, would be to type your text in a browser and do a screen capture...but the res might be difficult to work with, depending upon what you are using it for.
