I am a novice to Flash. Can someone tell me why the images I imported for my various layers in Flash look great while I'm in the Flash program but once I export them to a .swf file they become distorted. I tried using a .jpg and .png same out come.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Nancy

Check under your Publish Settings...(File > Publish Settings...) under the Flash tab there is a Jpeg Quality slider.
Also in your Library (F11), right-click on your pics. and select Properties... If it's a .jpg make sure the "Use document default quality" box isn't selected then just increase the quality number.
Hope that helps.

Wizard,
Thank you for your reply. I found the settings but it didn't change the outcome. Just happen to think of something..... I changed the settings in the library, do I have to drag those from the library over to replace the ones in the layers or do they automaticly change from the library?

I thought I'd show you what I mean.....I put it up at
http://www.bslash.com/test/wheels.html
I'm also trying to get the wheels to stay rotating.
The static picture is crisp I'm thinking it must be the rotating that is causing the problem....Maybe?
Your input is greatly appreciated.

Nancy Hmmm, is there any chance you can post or send me the file? Or maybe you can explain how you have it set up (in detail)?
