It could involve a number of things. Ultimately, you will be writing source code for Web-related software.

You will most likely be using ASP.NET, PHP, CGI, Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS, etc. It would be wise to ask your employer for some more technical details of your job.

Regards,
Andrew Buntine.

Maybe so andyshep but many of the web developer jobs out there today have different names for the exact same job which can confuse people.

Absaloutley, i applied for a job as a removal man, i ended up lecturing English Literature at Cambridge University UK.

Anyway, sticking on topic. Does your job have any decription about the kind of scripting you will be expected to do. Would you be classed under coder / server side programmer or client side designer and graphic manger?

Best Wishes,
David

As long as they don't start you off at minimum wage, go for it. It might be an opportunity of a life time.
