hi, i have an ADSL connection with a static IP address.
connected to this is my 4port 10/100 tcp/ip router.
somewhere in the connection settings of this router should be information on how i can get one of my PC's on my home network to apear on the internet.. as it stands only the router will show on the internet.. i need to point a port number to link to my pc's ip address 0f 192.168.1.2. and not the default website IP address...
any help would be great....

Did you try reading the manual?
If you don't understand it, then providing brand and model would increase you chances of a reply which concerns your specific hardware's setup.

yes i did manage to read the 15 page installation guide.
not one page had any information on port addressing...
i also tried visiting the 'CONEXANT' website... but they fail to list any reference of this eTec ADSL MODEM ROUTER as written on the box...

i was hoping someone with a good knowlage of TCP/IP would read this and help me in the right direction...

I.E explain how port addressing works....
