Hi.
I run a small record label and was hoping to get some feedback on how i can improve the label website.
I know some basic html but that is all.

Please dont use frames if you have ssi (server side includes) on your server use this instead as frames cause search engine problems.
You dont really use a layout structure use css to layout the style of your page.
Hi -
The color scheme is nice.
I agree about not needing the frames & have a couple of other suggestions:
- The 'splash' page is kind of useless but looks better organized than the home page & subsequent.
- Links on the left need to be bumped-up from the bottom of the screen - - and your main text shouldn't be exactly the same color.
- Why do you want us to leave your site right away and go to Rolling Stone? I'd put your essentials on the home page & change what you have there to a link.
good luck,

I think the text size should be enhanced - considering the light grey color, it's not so easy to read. The color combination looks pleasing to the eye, but since there is almost no contrast with the white background, the size should be large by couple of pixels. And - loose the frames! Otherwise looks nice and clean.

I aggree there is very little contrast to the text. There is a ton of white on this site, i tend to like things a bit off white, or put in more color in other places, white tends to make it feel empty to me IMO.

Splash page. You have a splash page. Why do you have a splash page?
The 3 golden rules of the web:
1. Don't have a splash page
2. Never break rule number 1
3. Never have a splash page
Apart from that, I like the look (nice logo). Probably don't need frames (not a terrible sin, just makes it hard for search engines to find you, and if they find one of you sub pages then it's trouble trying to get to you home page - which is a splash page - so silver linings, clouds and stuff).
