I'm thinking about getting rid of the pictures for links. Maybe not? What should I do?

Hi -
Actually, I think the header and textimages/links look great! The rest of the layout seems to harsh/boxy for such a 'peaceful' starting point.

Maybe just one div for content, lowered a little and given the same rounded corners? A different font or background color would be better, too - again, just feels like the wrong style to me.

Good luck with it - nice start,
El

Urm the bits on side, to big. OF r me they take up about a third of my screen each which is the same as the middle, I would have thought that it would make more sence for the middle bit to be bigger thabn the sides.

I think the links under the logo should be centered. Right now they are aligned to the left.

I'm not a huge fan of the box like look for the text areas either. I think matching them with the rounded look of the logo would be better.

The copyright info would be better at the bottom. I actually have a design where the copyright info is high up in the layout, but for yours, it just seems out of place.

How much space is supposed to be between the text boxes anyway? At 800X600 resolution there is very little space. 1024X768 it's not too bad. On mine...*sings "Wide Open Spaces"* :D

And yeah, the background image that's centered barely appears even at 800X600. Anything higher and people aren't going to see it at all.
