You are indeed brave, posting a site for review here.
Well, we can start with invalid HTML (http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A//www.wyty.com/) and invalid CSS (http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/validator?profile=css2&warning=2&uri=http%3A//www.wyty.com/)
You're navigation would be better done with CSS, methinks, including the drop-down which can't be accessed without JavaScript. And the see-through space between links for it sort of bothers me, I think it'd look better solid.
Also, it doesn't downsize, just a horizontal scrollbar appears at anything less than 800*600 maximized, which would be annoying for Opera and AOL users.
In Mozilla Firefox, on the Registration page, the navigation menu is half the size it's supposed to be.
Also, your top orange bar, which says Beta, Not Logged In, and shows the date just plain doesn't appear with FireFox or Opera.
That enough? :p

Well being the Admin here I knew of no place better to have a site beat-up for me.
Let me put it this way I was not the person to design the site so I'm not as worried about that so much, I knew you guys would roll over the errors and other items.
But here is something else that is rarely touched on here... WOULD YOU USE IT? Why would you be for it or against it? What are your impressions of what the site is trying to do? There is more to a website than just if the code validates how it looks to some browsers, those things are important however the more human side is also important.
That’s what my firm's been hired to do is get people to use it and if they won't use it what needs to change in the design team to make it used.

Hi Pete,
I think there's two problems, of course one with the design but i also think the problem is partly the concept. On the design half I don't think it encourages people to look through the whole site, the front page should make more of an impression... like instead of having table blocks with normal colour backgrounds it should have graphical titles for the login fields and something else that doesn't make the site look too static while still looking corporate. Also with people registering i don't think it's clear enough to the user what exactly they are registering for, in this case register probably isn't the best word to use, it needs to be something that more clearly says add your mobile number to the directory...
The other thing with the concept, the problem is that there's no incentive for people to add their mobile number on the site and you would need a great deal of people to register their mobile for other users to find them. Mobile phone numbers also change a lot - once people finish their contracts they often trade up to a new phone and might not bother with keeping their previous mobile number.
I'm guessing with the system as it is at the moment you wouldn't get much of a success rate of finding someone's number, so unless i could be guaranteed a 70% chance of finding someone's number then personally I wouldn't use the system :(
That's what i honestly think. Maybe something else can be done to make it work better... what are everyone else's thoughts?
Cheers...
