attach file with form

I am trying to make a form to be sent as an e-mail (usingthe mail() function), and I want the user to be able to attach files if needed. Is this possible? How can I do it?

Okay...well, maybe that isn't possible, does anyone have suggestions on how I can get the person's file sent in any way? I tried lettign them just upload the image and send the mail, but the upload didn't work..grr..I think I have a case of the Mondays!
