Drop Down Menu help needed!!PLEASE

I am having a problrm with my drop down menu, when i hover over it , it drops dovn but it gets hidden by pictures and other data??also could i get it to fold out up the way instead of dropping down??

You could just use the css style sheet z-index attribute, which allows you to control which images show in front, and which are hidden. If that's no good, or you need help implementing it, PM me.
