Anyone know of an FTP program that will send files from your computer to your site? such as WS_FTP but for free?

If you're using Windows™ then open up the DOS shell and run FTP.

Myself, I use the FTP client that comes with HTML Kit if I don't use the Perl FTP Module.

I second FileZilla. Paul Scrivs discussed (http://9rules.com/whitespace/our_thoughts/nonscientific_poll_ftp_client.php) this in detail.

Everybody missed the most obvious answer of them all. WS_FTP LE. It's the free version of WS_FTP. This of course if you are using it for non-profit reasons.

I went all out and bought CuteFTP. It was worth it. And IMO, Filezilla is WAY too slow.

WS_FTP Home is the latest incarnation of WS_FTP LE (the LE version is no longer available).
