Hello Everyone,
After a long day of being bored I decided to make a new layout for my blog, which is located here (http://www.egstorm.com/new_neczy/).
The markup of this layout is valid xhtml 1.1 and styled with valid css.
Tell me what you think!:)

Linkage?
Hi -
"In my humble opinion..."
Let me say that I DO like what you have so far, overall & only have a few suggestions:
Header image seems too large, body text could use a bit more padding and your oranges need some way to integrate into the rest of the page - lines between entries?
Nice job,
El

Wow... don't I feel like an idiot right about now. :o :o :o
Anyways. Yes, the header image is much too large. When the page first loads, it takes up over half of what I initially see.
Yes, content could use more padding.
And, again, I agree about incorporating the orange more. Maybe as a separator or...

Hey Neczy.
Beautiful site. I do have a few disagreements ;).
*1. Header image :: way to a large. as beautiul as it is, still too large.
*2. you don't have an actual title for the page displayed but im sure thats to come so no problem.
*3. you should put a border on the edge of the header because it looks a bit unorganised...
*4. the pastel coloured content area, sorry but i do not like that colour at all!
*5. As Mr. Paul said earlier on, more padding in the content definatley.
*6. Your sub navigation does not meet up with the edges. i haven't studied your CSS file yet but i reckon it is because you are not treating the content and subnav differentley, you are merely putting it inside the content div.
*7. basically a spin off about the colours. finding a good colour scheme is always important if you want to distinguish yourself among the others. i am currentley looking for my lost bookmark for the site where it explains how to pick a scheme from a photo or something similar...
Basically thats it for now!
Best Wishes,
David

Thanks for all your input!

Yup, lol, I was lazy and didnt make it my normal size. Also it isnt an optimized size so its basically just to show "whats to come".

Working on it ;)

I agree ;)

Yeah at the moment the Navbar is inside of the content div, so any padding to the content div makes the nav bar that much further away from the edge (fixing that shortly)

Yeah color choices are the reasons I usually don't make sites that are... well, colorful, but I'm trying to play off of complimentary colors, which is why there is the orange/blue colors. I'll try to play around with them a bit more and make it less pastelish.

I agree as well.
Again thank you all for your input and agree with all that you have said, and shall start fixing/enhancing what i have asap ;):D
