We are just looking to get some feedback on our new design at www.goodydomains.com. We are a new web hosting company and want to make the best impression possible. Thank you.

Using a 2.3Mbps connection with Mozilla Fire Fox, your site took longer than 10 seconds to load very bad form, after about 15 seconds your site was still not loaded that were I gave up and hit stop.

Your site works perfectly for me with javascript disabled in internet explorer. Thats good for non-javascript enabled users.

On the negative side, viewing your page with my 800*600px screen resolution, some of your text overflows the sides of your pages. That isn't too troublesome, but it would be better if users with smaller resolutions (me) didn't have to scroll side to side. Also with the loading time. The initial loading time of most of the pages wasn't great. The text displayed almost instantly which is good, but the images that are there just to look good at the top took a while to load and I have a DSL connection.

A run through at http://www.webpageanalyzer.com showed that your images alone are 48,073 bytes, a hefty amount. I suggest optimizing with some online image optimizer or using fewer images.

Good luck with the company!

your site looks nice but on a dsl connection it took about 15-25 seconds to finish loading. i also notice a line downnext to the last button faqs. dont know if its suposed to be there or not.

I like the banner, though the buttons on it might be more convincing if something happened when you mouseover and onclick.

Took a long time to load (I have 1Mbs cable broadband) though your images are small sizes. The same thing happens on other pages.

The logo looks like it isn't anti-aliased.

Looking at the source code, there's a hell of a lot of html for relatively small amount of stuff on the screen. CSS would shrink this a lot.

The top paragraph in the 'Domain Name Appraisals' section is in a different font from the rest of page.

Hope this helps

Thank you for the speedy response. I'm not sure why the page is loading so slowly, I've noticed the same problem and I am running on a DSL connection right now too. Thank you again for the feedback

Does the site flow well, do you want to continue reading what is in the body, or do you get distracted at all?

Once the page finally loaded :D I read all of the text and continued to the other pages because I wanted to know more about your hosting and not just because you asked for feedback. Your company provides an impressive list of features for that low of a cost. You may want to make a comparison chart of you vs. other hosting companies to really astound visitors with the quality and features of your hosting.

I appreciate the compliment! A comparison chart is a great idea and will probably show up by the end of the day. Thank you.

Our sales conversion rate is pretty low right now. We have a decent flow of traffic, but they seem to be turned away by something. What do you think could be changed to make the visitors stick around for a sale? Thanks.

Pretty good site, thank you for pointing that out to me. I would suggest anyone hoping to sell on the internet take a look at that link. Thanks again.

The site does flow well!

But why must every hosting company use the same server picture?

Anyway, the site is nice but you might want to keep your fonts consistent throughout your layout. Does your code validate?

Your background images are small, but you could in all honesty made then 1px wide to make them smaller and to trim load times just a hair.

EDIT: And I agree about the use of CSS. You have none that I see, and you would really cut down on your file sizes if you did. I would say you could cut at least 30% of your code by using CSS. Externally link the CSS and you cut down the sizes even more for people who visit more than one page. I assume you figure people are looking at more than one page right? :p

I was looking around the site for a link and had my mouse hovering on the left hand side where you normally find links. I was displeased to find out that they weren't. I suggest keeping it as is, just moving it to the right of the main content.

Develop an identity with a graphic main heading. A logo builts trust and says alot about your company. (don't look at mine, I am about to re develop it in 3D. :) )

Thank you for your comments. I'm not sure I understand what you mean by keeping the content to the right? Could you clarify? Thanks.
