I like the second one better in that it does a better job of balancing out the colors. The first one has a little too much white going on.

Since it's something in both, I would change the level of text for the menu. Right now each seems like it's on it own level in a somewhat random way.

I'm not a big fan of that many scroll bars going on, but I'm having a hard time offering a solution that's better. :) There's quite a bit of scrolling going on, I don't think you want to add more.

exactly. the scrollbars are one of my major problems. but cant think of another way to put all those products with which it wont make the page too long. [my boss doesnt realize that.,], considering that it's not all that.

thanks for the response.. i really appreciate it.

Use a navigation bar that also works when javascript is disabled. :)

Hi -
Could "They" be convinced to put the products on the Products Pages so you can spread-out the graphics without using scrollbars? Instead, maybe feature ONE product on the home page - or general info. about the company that will hook the guests' interest?
True, you did fine with what you had to do! [And why doesn't anyone declare the !DOCTYPE these days?]

Good luck,
El

well at the moment your home page for the second site, which i prefer over the old, is very information filled. Now, this isn't bad per se, but It seems a bit much. Maybe you should make a new page for each thing, such as a link to a page just about "Best" etc, and have those links on your homepage... THat would make it more inviting.

each product has its own page already.. [if you checked it, some of 'em are quite actually the same,. but the owner still wants them all in frontpage with somthing like an intro... your suggestion was my idea. that's what i did. but he told me to do something like that.. so i had no choice.. that's the only thing that came up to my mind..

thanks to you all. :)

I’m surprised no one has mentioned this yet: on the new page, you have used “You’re” incorrectly in the slogan (the text to the right in the header). It should be “Your”, not “You’re”.

Also, the menu items’ line height seems a bit random; the second and third links’ text is low (almost out of the little containing box), and the first and last three are high and to the left. Plus, the dropdowns (I assume there are dropdown menus?) don’t work. Lastly, I would get rid of the Iframes.

Other than that, I like the new design better than the old one.
