Hi, I'm wanting to use the tempus sans ITC font with a webpage i'm working on, but it seems this isn't a particularly common font - is there any way I can either embed it in the page so that the user downloads it when viewing my page, or failing that, set a default (other than Times New Roman which seems to be the default) as an alternative that people will have on their computers (ie Arial)?

Also, if i can somehow embed it, how do i set the webpage to use the tempus font without having to put <FONT FACE=...> tags all through my page? I read somewhere about style sheets - do they work for most browsers? Or is there a better way that's more likely to work more often....

First read mark learn and inwardly digest http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/ and http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-CSS1. Then see http://www.microsoft.com/typography/web/embedding/weft3/default.htm. If you're still using the FONT element then you've about seven years of catching up to do before you can start embeding fonts.
