Hi guys,
I work for a small business and would like to copy folders full of images to CD so I can send out to customers. I would like the CD to autorun and open so navigation is then possible.
Do I need a special programme to do this. I cannot afford to have this professionaly done so any help or pointing to a tutorial will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I'm no expert, but I think you need to create an autorun.inf file with the following line:

open=C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE D:\

This assumes the user's CD drive has the letter D, I'm not sure how to workaround if it doesn't.

hi,
please find attached a zip file with an autorun.inf file.
Open it in notpad and then change the start file to your start file then burn it to the root of the CD along with your files.
Your CD should then autorun.

Hope this helps.

Another option for an interactive autorun CD with nice menus that include hyperlinks, animation, audio, video is a $395 application called AutoPlay Menu Studio 4.0. It is fairly easy to create nice menus for a professional looking autorun CD. Advanced users can use VB for a variety of functions.
