I've been trhough this before, but don't seem to remember how to solve the problem.
I copied an image file from the root/images folder of a site that I have already built. I pasted the file in the root/images folder of another site that I'm building. Both of these sites have different root folders. Both sites have check marks on CACHE CONTENT ENABLED.
Now, I can't even start Dreamweaver; I get:
Dreamweaver has encountered fatal exception. Dreamweaver will terminate.
After a bunch of Ctrl Alt Delete's and several reboots I was able to delete the copy&pasted file, but I still can't start Dreamweaver.
I think the problem would be solved if I just deleted the whole new site (from the root folder which of course would be the final option -- since I don't want to loose work). Does anyone have any suggestions as far as copying and pasting of files/documents, and/or starting Dreamweaver again? Should I disable cache in Dreamweaver if I want to copy and paste files from one to another directory? I've had the same problem in the past; how do I get around this cache problem? Thanks.
