Does anybody know of any good books to help in webdesign.

Webdeisign, do you mean something that will actually teach you how to code or something that explains what you should think about and how to plan your work on a site?
For the latter, one of the best I've seen is http://www.webstyleguide.com (available both printed as well as online for free).
For how to code I don't know of any good books as I myself usually turn to the actuall W3C specs eg
http://www.w3.org/TR/html4
and
http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-CSS2

And lets not forget the all important Web Content Accesibility Guidelines 1.0 (http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG10/).

I just ordered a book called "Simple Web Sites: Organizing Content-Rich Web Sites Into Simple Structures" by Stefan Mumaw. I'll post a review after I've read through it. Smart Computing magazine gave it high marks in their PC How To's issue about building a web site.
