I disagree with Dave. I do not think that FrontPage could really teach you HTML. There is a Visual Quickstart Guide book called HTML for the World Wide Web. I read that book to teach me HTML, but the book I read was an earlier version from about 3 years ago. It is VERY easy to understand. It also covers CSS and XHTML. That should be a good book for newbies.
