Read from a db to a xml file

Hello, i want to make a connection between a database(my_sql or access) and a website. I can make some xml files, but the connection with a db is stil 2 difficult and i can't find any good information about it. Can you help me...

this is not the right place to ask that question,please post a question in the PHP section.

Now for the DB connectivity you will need to know some server side programming language,such as php,JSP/Java etc.
If you know any of the above then for php php forums will be great help or if you know java I can help you wity that too(the best place for java help is forums.java.sun.com)

So you need Javo to connect to the database and then you can translate that to xml?
