I found the problem but need help?

Hey i found the problem why my internet stops working after a while on the laptop it brings up a generic host process win 32 encountered a problem and has to end then no sites connect to after i click of the pop up.

Any ideas guys?

I found the problem it was several viruses on my laptop(which was semi working) and my computer which was not working what so ever.

Anyway thanks for everyones help in my last thread and to the guy who suggested AVG virus scanner it worked.

awesome :D glad avg worked out for ya :) so far it has never failed me... well maybe when i forgot to update it for over a month or whatever but i think that may have been my fault ;) tc

I have AVG -- it stopped working, though. Some other stuff stopped working, too (Start -> Run -> regedit; closes after a few seconds). I think I screwed up my registry... my computer has been acting real funkly lately. It really, really lags, and I "uninstalled" AVG, but it's still there, but doesn't work unless I right-click and select "Scan with AVG", but that's not really much of any help.

I think it's time for another reformat.
