Hi everyone
I am planning to design a web page for my best friend's wedding. However, i am still a novice in web page designing. I have read through some books but they were all too complex. Can anyone recommend me some websites, sofwares or advices on how to create a simple web page?
Thanks
snowy :D

www.w3schools.com is a great place to learn html, and to learn css for layout. www.bluerobot.com has some good rudimentary css based layouts. Css stands or cascading style sheets and it is the prefered way to layout websites.

w3schools.com definatley is what you need. it has most things on offer. online tutorials are probably better for you as you can read about HTML et cetera as you are composing.
Do you understand about web hosting and domain names. Do you have any web space anywhere?
Best Wishes,
David

www.htmlgoodies.com Bad no. Html goodies is horrible! They teach you crap. They teach table based layouts, deprecated attributes, and inaccessibility. They teach you how to make broken and lame junk. Do not speak of html goodies in my presence, they are an abysmal place to learn.
