How can I stop users adding pages to there Favorites?

Why would you want to stop people from doing that may i ask?

Because I need the whole site to be password protected with entry to the site via the Index page only and not thru any other page..

You can't.

Your question says that your page protection method is wrong.

You can't prevent a person from saving a page to their favorites. However, if you properly password protected your website, then when they attempt to access the page, it will prompt them for a password.
