Print Selection

Does anyone have any examples of how to force a browser to print a selection of a web page instead of the entire thing without having the site visitor highlight what they want, etc.? I found one online and it didn't work.

Any help or time is greatly appreciated.

The only thing I can think of is having the browser open a new window with the stuff in, print it, then close the window.
