Upload it to your server using an FTP program. If you don't know what that is, search for "FTP program" in Google. Whoa....what a concept?....GOOGLE!

You'll never learn if you keep on going to others for help...why don't you experiment around...maybe read the instructions included with your download?

And if you mess something in the download up somehow, you can just re-download it again....so there's no need to be afraid of messing something up.

If your host doesn't support PHP or MySQL (and I don't believe Tripod does), then you don't.

The only other alternative I can think of is sign up for something like Proboards (http://www.proboards.com/); other than that I think you're out of luck.

I don't understand. What file do you have, and why are you writing HTML in it? Do you have a question?

You said you are using Tripod for hosting, so you will not be able to have a forum on your website. The best you can do is sign up for an account for something like Proboards.

Advice that includes, but is not limited to:

Searching google for an FTP Program
Getting a host that supports MySQL and PHP
Uploading your files to the server
Trying things out on your own instead of asking us questions repeatadely

well if you just want to make the appearance of a forum, go to a forum (preferably not this one) and just copy the source code and put it on your page.

Lakers01, it's NOT impossible to get the source, they just used some of the stupid ways of trying to keep it protected.;)

Uhm, now I’m comfused. Do you want an actual forum on your site? If so, it isn’t possible with your host. You can sign up for some free forum at Proboards (http://www.proboards.com/), and I think that’s about your only option. If you just want something that looks like a forum… I don’t really see the point in that. :confused:
