microsoft patents crap all the time. You act like its new. They never really go after people for incorperating it into their software or anything though. What good does patneting a double click do anyway???

I know drug patents only last a few years. But some things seem to stay patented for a while, like the rotary engine, mazda has had it pantented forever. Its sucks because of that, they have no competitors to fight with in that area and it is not getting any better. The rotary engine concept is awesome, I mean rx7 and rx8 are really fast because of it, but the engine is so inefficient and such a gas hog. That is one example of a patent that just never seems to expire... I guess they can renew it. But drug company patents do not stay around that long, because after a few years a generic form of any drug can be bought. Its kind of weird, I guess their are different lengths for different stuff. I am going to google this to figure this out.
