What is the world coming to. Paul Jr 09-24-2004, 06:08 PM What the hell? They patented…different types of mouse clicks? artemis 09-24-2004, 06:13 PM i know, I thought apple originally *invented* the double click anway as they use only one button. rhsunderground 09-24-2004, 06:45 PM http://geocities.com/crazydude33/1027658000.jpg steelersfan88 09-24-2004, 06:59 PM very nice :D pawky 09-24-2004, 07:52 PM that is very funny. Cant believe they did that :P PeOfEo 09-24-2004, 07:54 PM microsoft patents crap all the time. You act like its new. They never really go after people for incorperating it into their software or anything though. What good does patneting a double click do anyway??? chrismartz 09-24-2004, 07:54 PM good thing patents expire after so many years....not sure how many but they do!!!! MstrBob 09-24-2004, 07:56 PM Looks like I'll have to start using triple clicks now... PeOfEo 09-24-2004, 07:58 PM I know drug patents only last a few years. But some things seem to stay patented for a while, like the rotary engine, mazda has had it pantented forever. Its sucks because of that, they have no competitors to fight with in that area and it is not getting any better. The rotary engine concept is awesome, I mean rx7 and rx8 are really fast because of it, but the engine is so inefficient and such a gas hog. That is one example of a patent that just never seems to expire... I guess they can renew it. But drug company patents do not stay around that long, because after a few years a generic form of any drug can be bought. Its kind of weird, I guess their are different lengths for different stuff. I am going to google this to figure this out. Paul Jr 09-24-2004, 11:51 PM Originally posted by rhsunderground Image posted by Rizzo Whoa, dude, that is way freaky. webdeveloper.com
