Hey guys,

I was wondering how to write a solid outsourcing contract?

I'll be working for a small company as a back-end coder for their website and I was wondering what are the main points of my services I should highlight in my contract that will make sure I don't screwed over?

I haven't actually written a contract before, but I've googled it and it seems like this is the best example of how it should be structured.

http://www.outsourcing-toolkit.com/contract.htm

and

http://www.techagreements.com/Agreement-Preview.asp?num=40849

Can you guys help me out please? What are the key points of a web developer's contract that they should emphasize in order to prevent a company from screwing him over?

and how do you negotiate payment? or is that in the contract or not?

Kind regards,
Jaime Bueza

Thanks Sharkey for the template! It's greatly appreciated.

So a Terms of Services is almost like a contract? They look almost the same except Contracts have $ signs in them. lol.
