Hello to all,


I'm trying to get some area on the image zoomed in by pressing mouse and moving around the area. But I'm unable to accomplish this please help me.

you will notice here that when you press the mouse and drag it around, you will notice a small rectangle appearing. How could you get the same effect with javascript or any other way.

Incase you missed it.Its not JavaScript at all.Its the "Java" in action on this page.
I seriously doubt that you can get that functionality with javascript.

Thanks for reply but I'm going to use SVG. I think you could accomplish this with SVG. I will post here, if accomplish this special effect. However, if you manage to implement this please let me know.

are you wishing to do this with an image, collection of images, or do you have vector data of maps to feed for drawing rendering?
