Help - onLoad setCookie

Does anyone know where I can find a good example of a cookie that automatically loads when the page loads? I need one without a bunch of accessories hard written into the code, so I can set the name and variable. Thanks : )

hey guys, thnaks for the prompt responses.
I'm really going insane over this.
Unfortunately I need a script that will set a cookie without a form object or other non-essentials. I've found that every time I try to edit someone script, it breaks. :(
